Afghanistan: Airstrike destroys car bomb, 2 suicide bombers killed

Kabul: Two suicide bombers were killed as a car bomb was destroyed during an airstrike in northern Balkh province of Afghanistan, media reports said.

According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, the security forces conducted the airstrike in at around 2:10 pm on Wednesday in Sheikh Tash Village of Chahar Bolak district, Khaama Press.

The statement further added that the airstrike destroyed a Humvee Armored Personnel Carrier packed with explosives and killed two suicide bombers, reported the news agency.

No terror group has commented on the matter so far.
