Afghanistan: 12 Taliban terrorists, including Pakistan nationals, killed in airstrike

Kabul: As many as 12 Taliban terrorists, including two Pakistan terrorists, were killed during an airstrike conducted by the US air force in Afghanistan's Kapisa province on Tuesday, officials said.

"12 #Taliban terrorists including 4 of their commanders & 2 others #Pakistani terrorists were killed in #airstrikes conducted by #US. Air Forces in #Nejrab district of #Kapisa province, late morning today," Afghanistan's Ministry of Defence tweeted.

"Also, some amount of their weapons, amos & equipment were destroyed," read the tweet.

Afghanistan is witnessing a surge in violence in recent times ever since foreign forces started leaving the country.

The Taliban terrorist have captured several regions in the country.
