'Wolverine' Hugh Jackman thanks fans in India, posts special video message on Twitter

Los Angeles, Apr 25 (IBNS): Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman has thanked his fans in India for supporting him during his journey as superhero Wolverine.

A tribute video of his fans made by Star Movies as part of #OneLastTime campaign left Hugh touched and he thanked movie lovers in the Asian nation where he enjoys a strong fan base.

Hugh posted a video message on his Twitter page for his fans.

"To all my fans in India, I just saw that incredible compilation, thank you so much it means the world to me. It has been an amazing journey and your support over 17 years, honestly it touches me. So thank you so much for sending me that video. I will keep it forever," he said in the video.

Hugh played the character of Wolverine in nine of the "X-Men" sagas.

"The Wolverine" film saga has complete its 17 years journey.

He last appeared as the Wolverine in 2017 film "Logan".

It was the last time he played the character.
