Vin Diesel in India to promote xXx: Return of Xander Cage with Deepika Padukone

Mumbai, Jan 12 (IBNS): The Deepika Padukone-Vin Diesel starrer xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which is also Padukone's debut Hollywood movie,will be released in India on Jan 14, five days before its global release.

Earlier in January, actor Vin Diesel was in India for the promotion of the movie.

Welcoming her co-star, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone had tweeted in Hindi, "विन,इंडिया बेसब्री से तुम्हारा इंतज़ार कर रहा है! जल्द ही मुलाकात होगी, १२ और १३ जनवरी को! हम सबका ढेर सारा प्यार!" (Vin, India eagerly is waiting for you. We will meet soon on January 12 and 13. With lots of love).

Directed by D. J. Caruso, produced by Vin Diesel, Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Samantha Vincent, and written by F. Scott Frazier and Chad St. John, the movie stars Diesel, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Kris Wu, and Ariadna Gutiérrez.

Deepika will be seen playing the character of Serena Unger in the movie.
