Hyderabad/IBNS: The much-awaited period action drama Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.

Set in 19th-century South India during the British colonial period, the film spans the period between 1854 and 1878.

It follows a rebellious warrior who rises against colonial oppression while fighting to protect his people.

The story unfolds against the backdrop of famine, hardship and resistance.

Ranabaali marks the third collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, following their earlier films Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).

Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, best known for portraying Imhotep in The Mummy, plays the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector in the film.

With its period setting, action-driven narrative and reunion of Vijay and Rashmika, Ranabaali is among the highly anticipated upcoming Telugu films.
