Actor Mohanlal has announced the release date of his upcoming film Drishyam 3.

The film will hit theatres on April 2, 2026.

Sharing the update on X, Mohanlal wrote: “Years passed. The past didn’t. #Drishyam3 | Worldwide Release | April 2, 2026.”

Drishyam 3 is the third instalment in the celebrated Drishyam crime-thriller series, continuing the story of Georgekutty, the clever family man played by Mohanlal.

The franchise began with the original Drishyam (2013) and was followed by Drishyam 2 (2021), both major hits that redefined Indian thriller cinema with their gripping narratives and unexpected twists.

Director Jeethu Joseph, who helmed the first two films, returned to write and direct the new chapter.

The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, with a global distribution strategy that includes multiple language versions.
