Hyderabad/UNI: The Telugu epic drama RRR was finally released on Friday.

SS Rajamouli's recent magnum opus brings together two of Tollywood's biggest stars on the screen, Jr NTR and Ram Charan along with Bollywood actors Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt in their debut in southern cinema.

The trailer for the movie features incredible production and an exorbitant budget of Rs 550 crores.

As per sources, the film has a 13 crore opening and is approaching 15 crore may very well go off the 100 crore mark.

Concerning theatre occupancy, the film is most likely to screen in more theatres than Baahubali 2 with a recorded average occupancy of 30-35 per cent and growing in the South alone so far.

The movie is a grand spectacle based on a fictional depiction of two legendary revolutionary leaders of British India who became prominent figures in the history for the fight for Indian Independence.

The figures are Komaram Bheem, the legendary tribal leader of the Gond tribe of Telangana and Alluri Sitaram Raju, a leader from Andhra Pradesh who opposed the British on their forest policies and fought for the tribals.
