'Sanngto Aika' opens with star studded premieres!
On Oct 1, celebrities including Shreyas Talpade, Ashok Saraf, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Ali Azgar and Swapnil Joshi came together to attend the film’s first premiere in Mumbai. October 2 took the film to Pune, a city considered to be the Marathi cultural headquarters.
The film has been building enormous anticipation among Marathi cine-goers, as was evident at the film’s Pune premiere. Pleased audiences and happy faces were all around, with the film being named among Sachin Pilgaonkar’s best performances.
The director of ‘Sanngto Aika’, celebrated Marathi film personality Satish Rajwade, is currently working on his debut Hindi film ‘Mumbai Delhi Mumbai’, which is set to release soon. Given the stature of upcoming Marathi talent in comparison to Bollywood, it is becoming clear that Marathi films are making their presence felt. ‘Sanngto Aika’ is set to pack a solid punch this season, starring the most popular Marathi actor Sachin Pilgaonkar, and directed by Satish Rajwade who is rapidly becoming the industry’s favourite director.
‘Sanngto Aika’ stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Bhau Kadam, Vaibhav Mangle, Jagannath Nivangune, Milind Shinde, Pooja Sawant, Madhav Abhyankar, Sanskruti Balgude and Vijay Chavan, and is produced by Vidhi Kasliwal with Landmarc Films. Directed by Satish Rajwade, the film was released on October 2, 2014 all over Maharashtra.
