Ricky Kej performs at the UN General Assembly

New York, July 19 (IBNS): Grammy winner Ricky Kej added another feather to his crown when he performed at the United Nations headquaters in New York on Sunday.

Kej said he performed  songs from his latest album Shanti Samsara.

"The most humbling experience of my life :-) Today I performed at the United Nations General Assembly! I stood where every world leader has stood and we performed songs from my latest album SHANTI SAMSARA. I spoke about our environment and how we need to realign to a Collective Goal that is bigger than ourselves," Kej posted on his Twitter page.

"We played a dedication to the submerging island nation of Kiribati, and I ended the concert by saying 'Climate Change is Real, it is Human Induced, it is affecting us all and OUR actions are affecting countries on the other side of the planet' Super special thanks to the the outstanding Novus Summit and everyone involved," he said.

Ricky Kej's 'Winds Of Samsara' won the Best New Age Album at the 57th Grammy Awards.
