Indian Premier League and Shah Rukh Khan go hand in hand and this year when his Kolkata Knight Riders is playing the final of the cash-rich tournament even Canadian rapper Drake could not prevent himself from placing his first-ever cricket bet.

According to reports, the Grammy award-winner placed his first bet on the final match between KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His bet is worth $250,000, and its estimated payout is $425,000, reported Hindustan Times.

The newspaper quoted Drake's Instagram story as saying: " Since @ovorajaju team is out, I am going with KKR for my first ever cricket bet (teary-eyed laughter emoji) Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo.”

KKR dominated the league stage of the tournament by finishing at the top of the table with 20 points.

They beat SRH in the qualifier one to reach the final.

KKR has bagged two IPL titles in the history of the tournament so far.
