Mumbai/IBNS: Indian actor Ram Charan is eager to play a sports film and he seemed more than happy if it would be on Indian cricket's icon, Virat Kohli.

Speaking to a news channel, Ram Charan said, "I would like to play anything related to sports. It's been a long due. Something sports-based film."

On insisting whether he would play a biopic on Kohli, the Telugu film heartthrob said, "Fantastic. He is an inspiring soul. I think, yeah, given a chance, it will be fantastic. We both have a beard. Good one, good one."

Ram Charan returned from the United States to India on Friday after his RRR won the 95th Academy Award for its hugely popular song Naatu Naatu.

Even recently, Kohli, who is never shy of expressing emotions on field, emulated the steps of Naatu Naatu for fun during a match.
