Hyderabad/IBNS: The latest shooting schedule for the upcoming Telugu film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, commenced in Hyderabad on Thursday, according to 123Telugu.com.

Ram Charan is actively participating in this phase of the shoot. With only a few days of filming left, the production is nearing completion.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports drama features Ram Charan in the titular role and is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. The film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu appear in key supporting roles. The music and background score are composed by A.R. Rahman.

Originally scheduled for release on March 29, the film’s release date has now been postponed to April 30.

Peddi is described as a sports drama rooted in rural life, blending action and emotion around a village-level cricket tournament.

For his role, Ram Charan has undergone a significant physical transformation, sporting long hair, a rugged beard, and an athletic build, which has generated substantial buzz ahead of the film’s release.
