The release of director Prashanth Neel and actor Jr NTR’s highly anticipated upcoming film has been postponed, according to media reports.

The makers have also announced that the film’s first glimpse will now be released on May 20. Sharing a new poster on Instagram, N. T. Rama Rao Jr — popularly known as Jr NTR and grandson of legendary actor N. T. Rama Rao — confirmed the updated timeline.

The film is now scheduled for theatrical release on June 11, 2027. It was earlier slated to hit screens on June 25, 2026, and had initially been planned for a January 9, 2026 release before being pushed.

In his Instagram post, Jr NTR wrote: “HIS REIGN… HIS SOIL… JUNE 11, 2027… IT IS…. #NTRNeel.”

The project remains one of the most anticipated collaborations in Indian cinema, bringing together the blockbuster director-actor duo for the first time.

Jr NTR was last seen in the action spy thriller War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, which underperformed at the box office.

It was one of the biggest releases of the Yash Raj Spy Universe.
