DC has no immediate plans to make Wonder Woman 3: Reports

| @indiablooms | Aug 11, 2023, at 10:28 pm

There is bad news for all Wonder Woman fans as DC Studios is not planning to make a third movie in the series, media reports said.

Sources told Variety that the third “Wonder Woman” film is not in development at DC Studios nor do Gunn and Safran have plans at this time for any “Wonder Woman” project in the new DC Universe other than their previously announced “Paradise Lost” prequel series for Max.

This development is contrasting to actor Gal Gadot's previous claim that the possibility of creating a third movie in the series was not completely shelved.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, Gal, who portrays the character of Wonder Woman on the silverscreen, said, "It's so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we're gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."

Sources told Variety that nothing was ever promised to Gadot regarding “Wonder Woman 3,” nor was there any definitive discussion of Gadot’s Wonder Woman continuing with the new DC Universe.

Gal Gadot was first seen as Wonder Woman in the 2016-released movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
