Bengaluru/IBNS: After a strong opening at the box office, Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep’s Mark witnessed a dip in collections on its second day, The Times of India reported.

The action thriller earned Rs 3.50 crore on Friday, taking its total box office collection to Rs 12.10 crore, after posting an impressive Rs 8.6 crore on its opening day.

Directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa, Mark was released on December 25 during the Christmas holiday season and had a pan-Indian release in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

In the film, Sudeep plays Ajay Markandeya, also known as Mark, a suspended Superintendent of Police whose life takes a dramatic turn after a series of violent incidents and a large-scale child kidnapping case rock Karnataka.

As he is drawn back into active duty, Mark uncovers a dangerous nexus involving gangsters, political conspiracy and child trafficking, racing against time to rescue the abducted children and expose the criminal network.

The narrative blends high-octane action, emotional stakes and political intrigue, with the protagonist battling betrayal, corruption and inner conflict while striving to restore justice and clear his name.

Mark features an ensemble cast including Naveen Chandra, Shine Tom Chacko, Roshni Prakash, Guru Somasundaram, Vikranth, Yogi Babu, among others. The film has drawn attention for its stylised action sequences and Sudeep’s commanding screen presence.
