Whatsapp starts working after temporary breakdown

New Delhi, Nov 3 (IBNS): Messaging app Whatsapp has resumed its service after its temporary breakdown on Friday.

Whatsapp was down as it was not working for billions of customers worldwide.

The users were facing problems in connecting, sending and receiving messages.

The problem was predominant in countries like Italy, USA, UK, India, Germany, Sri Lanka, media reports said.

Writer Chetan Bhagat posted a humorous tweet which reads: "First we used to check neighborhood from balcony to see if light has gone for everyone else too,Now we check twitter to see if #WhatsAppdown."
