SGPC delegation led by Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal calls on Prime Minister

New Delhi, Jun 8 (IBNS): A delegation led by Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.

The delegation also consisted of members from Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

The delegation appreciated the Union Government’s scheme ‘SevaBhojYojna’, which will reimburse the Central share of CGST and IGST on items for Langar and Prasad, offered free of cost by charitable religious institutions, including Gurdwaras.

The delegation also expressed its satisfaction over the series of measures taken by the Union government to ease the burden on sugarcane farmers, the release from the Prime Minister's Office said.
