Pre-monsoon showers affect life in Mumbai, local trains running late
Mumbai, Jun 7 (IBNS): Parts of Mumbai were left waterlogged and the city's local trains ran late as pre-monsoon showers hit the city on Thursday morning, according to media reports.
Traffic jam was also reported from some parts of Mumbai and its suburbs.
A Jet Airways London-Mumbai flight was unable to land and was diverted to Ahmedabad, reports said.
The IMD has forecast intense rainfall activity over Maharashtra coast between June 7 and 11, media reported.
