PM Modi pays tributes to Veer Savarkar on his birth anniversary

New Delhi, May 28 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, paid tributes to freedom fighter and poet Veer Savarkar, on his birth anniversary.

The PM said, "I salute the brave son of India, Veer Savarkar, on his birth anniversary."

Several BJP top brass too took to social media to express their gratitude towards Savarkar.

BJP President Amit Shah and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will re-instate the Savarkar Plaque at Port Blair on Saturday.
