PM meets members of Mission Shaurya Team

New Delhi, Jun 29 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met a group of ten tribal students from Maharashtra, who were a part of a team of the “Mission Shaurya” initiative of the Adivasi Vikas Vibhag of the Maharashtra Government.

Five students out of this group successfully scaled Mt. Everest in May 2018.

The students shared their experiences during the training and ascent of Mt. Everest.

The Prime Minister congratulated the students on their achievements. He exhorted them to take up a sport, and pursue it regularly. He felicitated all the members of the group.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and Union MoS for Home Affairs, Shri Hansraj Ahir, were present on the occasion.
