Mufti slams Pakistan for terror attacks

Jammu, Mar 22 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Sunday hit out at Pakistan over the recent terror attacks in the state and asked it to combat against terrorism if the neighbouring country wants peace.
"Terror attack is a conspiracy to derail peace process. Pakistan must control terrorism if it wants peace and reconciliation," he said while addressing the state assembly.

The state has witnessed two terror attacks recently.

In one of the incidents, two terrorists opened fire and lobbed grenades at the camp of the 81 Armoured Regiment of the Army on Jammu-Pathankot highway in the early hours of Saturday.

The incident was the second such attack in two consecutive days after  six people, including three CRPF personnel and a civilian were killed in an encounter between terrorists and police in Kathua district on Friday.
