Kolkata, May 24 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has wished her Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan, who turned 73 on Thursday.

Wishing the Marxist CM, Banerjee tweeted, "Birthday greetings to @CMOKerala @vijayanpinarayi Pinarayi Vijayan"

Banerjee and Vijayan were present at the swearing-in ceremony of Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy as the Karnataka CM in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The swearing-in ceremony had turned out to be a grand show of a unity of all anti-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parties.

Vijayan, the 12th CM of Kerala, assumed his post in 2016.
