LG must act harmoniously with Delhi government: Supreme Court
New Delhi, Jul 4 (IBNS): In a big boost to the AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal, the Supreme Court on Wednesday said the Lieutenant Governor (LG), with whom the former is at loggerheads, must act harmoniously with the Delhi government, media reports said.
The top court also said the LG can't interfere in every matter of the government.
The verdict came out following a tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Delhi government and LG Anil Baijal over the control of powers.
