Kashmir: Two terrorists, policeman, civilian die in Anantnag encounter

Srinagar, Jun 22 (IBNS): Two terrorists, a policeman and a civilian have died during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday, media reports said.

The security forces had initially started a search operation which later turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire.

The search operation had started after the security forces got some intelligence input about suspected terrorists hiding in a house.

The owner of the house, in which three terrorists were hiding, had died, while, his wife has sustained injuries.

The encounter is still underway.
