Bhagat Singh’s grandnephew killed in road mishap

Shimla, May 29 (IBNS) Grandnephew of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Abhitej Sandhu, was killed in a road mishap near Rampur in Shimla district on Saturda, reports said.

The AAP activist, who was injured in a motorcycle mishap, was admitted to Rampur hospital .

He reportedly suffered from head and rib injuries after the  motorcycle , on which he was traveling, skidded.

He later died. 

The AAP leader's body was handed over to his family after  postmortem. He has been taken to  Mohali for cremation on Monday, reports said.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal mourned his death and tweeted: "May his soul rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to his family members."
