Assam: Security forces nab four ZUF militants in Cachar district

Guwahati, July 19 (IBNS): Security forces apprehended four hardcore Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) militants in Assam's Cachar district on Thursday.

The nabbed militants were identified as Haisuive Pame alias Ashui, Agaung Jeme, Azeu Pame and Izohowangbe Pame.

A top official of Assam Rifles said that, one hardcore militant namely Mapa Jemei, 2nd lieutenant of ZUF(Kamson) faction, managed to flee from the area.

Security personnel recovered few arms and one smartphone with two SIM cards in possession from them.
