Pakistan: Three security personnel killed in suicide attack

Quetta: At least three Pakistani security personnel died in a suicide attack in the country's  North Waziristan region, media reports said on Sunday.

The security personnel were martyred when a suicide bomber blew himself up in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan, Geo News reported quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to reports, three children were also martyred in the incident.

The three martyred soldiers were identified as Lance Havaldar Zubair Qadir, Sepoy Asghar and Sepoy Qasim Maqsood, reports Geo News.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif tweeted: "Deeply saddened by the martyrdom of three soldiers of Pakistan Army & three children in a suicide attack in Miran Shah. Blood of our soldiers & citizens is a debt on us that we will repay by eradicating terrorism from our country. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families."
