Children join protest in Pakistan’s Gwadar, demand justice for murdered teacher

| @indiablooms | Oct 18, 2026, at 10:08 pm

Family members of a Pakistani schoolteacher, along with a large number of local residents, recently staged a protest in Gwadar, demanding the arrest of suspects named in the First Information Report (FIR) in connection with his murder.

The teacher was identified as Parvez Mazar.

A large number of children also took part in the demonstration, carrying placards and postcards bearing photographs of the slain teacher.

According to the victim’s family, Mazar was allegedly abducted and tortured before being murdered, Dawn News reported.

The protesters demanded that the suspects named in the FIR be handed over to the police rather than being provided shelter, the newspaper reported.

The demonstrators called for justice for the victim’s family and urged authorities to take action against those allegedly involved in the crime.
