Pakistan: Khuzdar blast leaves four dead

At least four people died and five others were injured after an explosion rocked Khuzdar region in Pakistan on Wednesday.

According to police officials, the vehicle parked nearby the spot of explos Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) chief Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq was among three   ion caught fire soon after the incident, reported Ary News.

Police said the injured and the deceased were transferred to a nearby hospital.

The blast occurred at a time when Pakistani security forces killed 16 suspected terrorists when they attempted to attack Bannū Cantt.

The deceased reportedly included four suicide bombers.

 Pakistan has witnessed a spike in terror attacks in recent years.

Recently,  Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) chief Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq was among three people who died after a suicide blast occurred in Akora Khattak’s Darul Uloom Haqqania.

According tor reports, the blast occurred after Friday's prayer inside the seminary.
