Pakistan: JuD madrassah attacked, 15 injured

Peshawar, May 2 (IBNS): At least 15 people were injured in an attack on a Jamaatud Dawa madrassah in Peshawar's Tehkal area of Pakistan on Sunday, media reports said on Monday.

Superintendent Police Cantonment Peshawar Kashif  was quoted as saying by Dawn News that the assailants opened fire and lobbed grenades at the Baitul Mukarrama Alhadees seminary.

Unknown men reportedly attacked the building when the members of the seminary were having dinner after lessons.

One of the attacker was reportedly injured during during the incident and he is undergoing treatment in Combined Military Hospital Peshawar.
