Pakistan: Gunmen open fire on school van, 4 teachers injured

Islamabad: At least four teachers were hurt as unknown gunmen opened fire on a school van in Mastung district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Saturday, media reports said.

The gunmen ambushed the school van and attacked it when the female teachers were on their way back home after taking classes, Xinhua news agency reported.

The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.

The area was cordoned off by the police after the attack.
