Kabul: Blast leaves three people wounded

Kabul/IBNS: An explosion in Kabul city, which occurred close to a hospital, on Monday left at least three people wounded, media reports said.

Tariq Arian, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, told Khaama Press a roadside bomb went off close to Yasra Hospital in the 11th district of the city. 

No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.

Meanwhile, the ISIS Khorasan, the offshoot of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), has claimed responsibility for the bombing incident in Kabul which left two TV station employees dead, media reports said.

The group issued a statement in Arabic language, claiming responsbility for the attack on a bus carrying the employees of Khurshid TV in Kabul city, reports Khaama Press.

An official in the Ministry of Interior confirmed to Khaama Press that the vehicle of Khurshid TV, one of the private TV channels, hit an improvised explosive device at around 4 pm on Saturday.

A reporter and a technical worker of the TV channel were killed in the incident.

The incident left six others hurt.

The Taliban group earlier rejected their involvement in the incident.
