Ex-minister TM Gius Uddin dies of COVID-19 in Bangladesh

Dhaka/UNI: TM Gius Uddin, former Minister and Shariatpur district unit BNP former president, passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Friday night with COVID-19.

The 83-year-old veteran politician breathed his last at Green Life Medical College And Hospital around 2245 hrs while undergoing treatment there.

BNP chairperson's press wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.

He said Gius Uddin had been admitted to the hospital with fever diabetics problem.

He left behind his two daughters, a son and hosts of relatives and well-wisher to mourn his death.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Tajmahal Road Jame Masjid in Mohammadpur after Zuhr prayers. After the janaza, the former Minister will be buried at Tajmahal Road Graveyard.
