Kabul, Feb 25 (IBNS) A group of 10 ex-ISIS members, who put down their weapons and joined the peace talks in Afghanistan, on Wednesday, claimed that Pakistan funded and trained them, according to reports.

Zaitoon, a former ISIS member was quoted by TOLO News as saying, "Pakistani military gave us weapons and used to tell us that Afghan forces are infidels and you must kill them."

Arbistan, another former member said, "I was tasked to fight in Nazian district [in Nangarhar]. We used to present our daily report to Punjabis and Pakistanis and they encouraged us to fight the Afghan government."

Reports have also stated that 24 former Taliban and ISIS members have reportedly joined the peace talks.
