Chinese envoy in Nepal asks people to follow and promote her on Twitter in lieu of movie tickets

Beijing/IBNS: In an unheard of social media diplomacy, the Chinese envoy in Nepal has offered people of the Himalayan nation to follow her on Twitter and retweet her posts  in exchange for movie tickets.

Ambassador Hou Yanqi also made the offer to encourage people from the Himalayan nation to watch movies at the Chinese Film Festival which commenced in capital Kathmandu city on Friday.

She tweeted: "The Opening Ceremony of Chinese Film Festival will be held on December 27 in Kathmandu. -Follow me and retweet this post-Comment on this post and tag 1 friend-Ends at 12:00 AM on December 26 2 tickets will be given away to the Top 5 winners with the most likes! Good Luck!."

She later also posted: "In return for your active participation, I decide to give away 20 tickets to 10 friends! Congrats to @sandeshsigdel8 @krmaharjan
