The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Foreign Secretary Ambassador Masud Bin Momen yesterday, according to a release issued, reports BSS.

"It will play a crucial role to the continuous efforts of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in achieving international recognition to the liberation war genocide. It is a historical step taken in remembrance of the martyred souls," Momen said in his inaugural speech.

He also thanked those concerned to the exhibition, specially the Bangladesh Liberation War Museum for arranging such a significant event, the release as quoted by BSS.

Ambassadors, UN and Bangladesh Mission officials, eminent persons from the Bangladesh community including family members of the freedom fighters and martyrs attended the event.
