Bangladesh records 38 new deaths, 2,060 COVID-19 cases

Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh on Sunday recorded 2,060 more cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total to 4,47,343.

Of the total patients, 3,62,428 recovered, with 2,076 making recovery in the past 24 hours.

The daily count came from test of 13,870 samples in the past day. As of today, the number of total sample test stood at 26,49,072.

However, the country also reported 38 more deaths from the deadly virus, taking the tally to 6,388.

Bangladesh first reported its COVID-19 cases on March 8. Since then the country has been struggling to limit spread of the highly contagious virus.
