Dhaka, Aug 2 (IBNS): The Bangladesh government has directed to shut down unapproved schools by the name of ‘Peace School’ across the Asian nation.

"To the end, the education ministry asked the home ministry issuing a notice in this regard on Tuesday," Prothom Alo reported.

" With the growing popularity of Indian ‘Islamic scholar’ Zakir Naik’s Peace TV, a section of people in Bangladesh set up schools by the name of ‘peace school’ across the country," the newspaper reported.

The Bangladesh government had announced shutting down telecast of Peace TV Bangla in the country last month.

Militant attack at a restaurant in Bangladesh had left 20 people killed.
