Bangladesh Abrar murder case: Charge sheet submitted against 25 people

Dhaka/IBNS: Bangladesh officials on Wednesday submitted a charge sheet against 25 accused in connection with the murder case of Buet student Abrar Fahad.

Md Wahiduzzaman, DB inspector and also the investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet to the court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kairsarul Islam on Wednesday, reported Dhaka Tribune.

Abrar was a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Bangladesh's iconic 
Buet institute.

The student was beaten to death inside the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall last month.

The incident had triggered nationwide protests.

Police have detained 20 people in connection with the case so far.
