A policeman and two labourers were killed during a terrorist attack on Abaa Shaheed police check post in Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan on Tuesday.

According to a police spokesman, unknown militants attacked the checkpost in the wee hours of Tuesday, reported Dawn News.

The cops manning the checkpost observed the militants’ incursion using thermal cameras and repulsed the attack, the Pakistani newspaper reported.

The encounter broke out when terrorists once again attacked the spot.

The attackers fled the scene after some time.

When a search operation was launched in the morning, the dead bodies of a policeman and two labourers, Ashiq, son of Sona and Qamar Zaman, son of Sulaiman, were recovered, reported Dawn News.
