Afghanistan :Taliban’s military commission chief for 3 districts of Faryab has died

Kabul, Nov 5 (IBNS) :The military commission chief of Taliban for three districts of Faryab province Qari Yousuf has died, Local Khaama Press said quoting  Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior (MoI). 

According to a statement released by MoI, Qari Yousuf who was also famous as Haqyar, was critically wounded during a clash with the security forces in Sherin Tagab district two days ago.

The statement further added that Qari Yousuf was the military commission chief of the Taliban for Khwajah Sabzposh, Sherin Tagab, and Dawlatabad districts.

According to the Ministry of Interior, Qari Yousuf died of his wounds late on Saturday night in Pashtun Kot district.

The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.

Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan where the Taliban militants are active in some of its districts and often carry out terrorist related activities.
