Afghanistan: Taliban to begin issuance of NIDs, Passport

Kabul: The Taliban administration of Afghanistan has said that they will sooner begin issuance of the National IDs and passports in the country.

In a meeting of the council that was conducted on Monday, October 4 the leadership of the IEA directed the ministry of interior affairs to begin the issuance of NIDs and Passport, Khaama Press reported.

However, the exact date when the process will begin has not been mentioned.

The Taliban administration took control over Afghanistan on Aug 15 as the insurgents entered Kabul city.

They formed the government last month.
