Kabul: Afghanistan Taliban has claimed to have destroyed two Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters of the Afghan Air Force by conducting a tactical attack on Kunduz Airport, media reports said.

Taliban Spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said Afghan forces also suffered casualties in this attack, reports The Express Tribune.

In his tweet, he also shared drone footage of the attack, in which a burning helicopter can be seen from a distance.

Afghanistan is witnessing violence ever since foreign forces started moving out of the country.

The Taliban has gained control over numerous regions.
