Afghanistan: Kabul explosion leaves one person dead

Kabul: At least one person was killed and two others were hurt as a blast rocked Kabul city of Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Ferdaw Faramuz, a spokesperson for Kabul Police Headquarters, told Khaama Press the incident and said an explosion ripped through a police vehicle at around 7:15 am local time.

According to Faramurz, the explosives were planted in a police vehicle which went off in the outskirts of 4th district of Kabul city, reported the news portal.

He told the news agency that the explosion  left a security officer dead and two others wounded while the police vehicle was totally damaged.
