Afghanistan: Explosion rocks Kabul, casualties feared

Kabul, May 31 (IBNS): A heavy explosion has rocked Kabul on Wednesday morning, local Khaama Press reported.

The state run agency quoted local officials as saying that they fear casualties in large numbers.

The incident took place close to the Zanbaq square in the 10th police district of the city.

The Afghan Ministry of Interior spokesman Najib Danish said that a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle filled with explosives.
