Afghanistan: Coalition airstrikes lead to killing of five suspected IS, Taliban terrorists

Kabul, Feb 2 (IBNS): At least five suspected Taliban and ISIS Khurasan terrorists were killed during separate airstrikes conducted by the coalition forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Saturday.

As per Afghanistan's Khaama Press report, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East in a statement said the coalition forces carried out airstrikes in Khogyani district earlier today. 

Three Taliban terrorists were killed in the airstrike, the media reports sais quoting the statement.

In another airstrike carried out at around 9am local time in Khogyani district today, 2 ISIS Khurasan militants were killed, the 201st Silab Corps added in its statement, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.

The terrorist organsations have not commented on the incident so far.
