Afghanistan: Ashraf Ghani wishes nation on I-Day

Kabul, Aug 18 (IBNS): Afghanistan president Ashraf Ghani on Thursday wished his nation on the occasion of Independence Day.
He asked countrymen to work for peace and prosperity of the nation.

"A very happy Independence Day to my fellow Afghans. Let's all work for peace/prosperity to pay homage to the sacrifices of our forefathers," the President tweeted.
