Afghanistan: American and Australian academics kidnapped in Kabul
Kabul, Aug 8 (IBNS): An American professor and his Australian colleague were kidnapped at gunpoint by unknown men in Kabul, media reports said.
The incident took place on Sunday evening, Khaama Press reported.
The two academics were working with the American University in Kabul.
Earlier, Judith D'Souza, an Indian aid worker was also kidnapped in Kabul.
However, she was rescued following a rescue operation.
