World T20: South Africa beat Afghanistan by 37 runs

Mumbai, Mar 20 (IBNS): South Africa defeated Afghanistan by 37 runs in an ICC World T20 match here on Sunday.

Posting a massive 209 runs for the loss of five wickets, South Africa then bowled out the Asian side for 172 runs.

AB de Villiers displayed his brilliance as he smashed 29-ball 64, which included four boundaries and five sixes, against the Asian team.

Mohammad Nabi, Shapoor Zadran, Dawlat Zadran and Amir Hamza picked up a wicket each for Afghanistan.

Chasing 210 for victory,  Afghanistan did not surrender infront of the mighty South African bowling attack.

Mohammad Shahzad remained the top scorer for the Asian side with his gutsy 44 runs.

He hit three boundaries and five sixes in his entertaining knock that lasted 19 balls.
