Virat Kohli surpasses Sourav Ganguly to become second highest ODI run-getter in India

Port of Spain, Aug 11 (IBNS): Indian skipper Virat Kohli smashed the 42nd hundred of his career in the ongoing second ODI match of the series against West Indies.

In the process, Virat also surpassed the record of Sourav Ganguly and became the second highest run-getter in one-day internationals for the 'Men In Blue'.

Kohi smashed 120 runs in the match.

His innings comprised of 14 boundaries and six.

Virat Kohli is only behind batting legend Sachn Tendulkar.

The batting icon scored 18,426 runs in ODIs.

Kohli surpassed former skipper Ganguly's position in his 238th game.

Ganguly had played 311 ODIs to score 11,363 runs in his career.

Ganguly was quick in congratulating Kohli and tweeted: "Virat kohli another master class in one day cricket @imVkohli @BCCI.. what a player."
